After you have browsed
thru our website, reviewed what our goals are, we
would like to encourage you to consider getting
involved with our Sacred Sites Committee. Currently,
we are seeking individuals to assist us with our
efforts towards creating awareness,
education, contacting Government Officials, working
with Tribal Preservation Officers, Tribal
Leaders, Preservation Organizations and private
individuals. Our long term goal is to build
a network of committee members within every state.
Our organization is a grass roots volunteer based
group. Committee members volunteer what time,
services, knowledge and expertise that they may
have, and are able. We realize that not everyone has
the amount of time available that others may have,
all we require is active involvement and
participation with the work on our
committee. Involvement is the key factor in success,
creating progress and generating solutions to this
challenging issue in the battle of protecting sacred
sites.
Our organization is
currently working on several very important issues
and is growing very rapidly in a positive direction.
We are all very excited about the progress we have
made and hoping to share our success stories with
you soon!
The goal of our
organization is to help make a difference in the
protection of sacred sites and we are seeking people
that are interested in doing the same!
