"Our sacred lands are all that remain keeping us connected to our place on Mother Earth, to our spirituality, our heritage and our lands; what’s left of them. If they take it all away, what will remain except a vague memory of a past so forgotten?"

Subject: FW: Bolsa Chica Protest/Prayer this Saturday (11/1)

Hello Bolsa Chica Supporters:

We will hold our monthly protest/prayer this Saturday, Nov. 1st from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the corner of Bolsa Chica St. and Warner Ave.  We encourage you to attend as we want to have a strong presence of prayer as we prepare for the revocation hearing on Thursday, Nov. 13th.  We have about 20 signs.  Please feel free to make and bring your own signs.  See you on Saturday!

In Unity,

Susana

Bolsa Chica Supporters:

The Calif. Coastal Commission granted us a full revocation hearing which is scheduled for Thursday, November 13th at the Long Beach City Hall, City Council Chambers, 333 W. Ocean Blvd., Long Beach, CA 90802!!

The agenda for Nov. 13th begins at 8:00 am.  I encourage  everyone to be at the City Council Chambers as close to 8:00 am as possible.  It is hard for us to determine what time the Hearthside Homes/Brightwater revocation request will be heard and the order the agenda items are heard are subject to change.  Therefore, please consider planning on spending the entire day in the City Council Chambers.  You may want to bring your lunch and/or snacks.

I do know that parking fees are high in the downtown Long Beach area.  You may want to car pool with family, friends, etc.  I will follow up with parking information in the next few days.

You can review the agenda for the day by logging on to the Coastal Commission website at
www.coastal.ca.gov.  At the home page go to the left margin and click on Public Meetings.  You will be able to view the agenda for the three days the Commission is in session.  Scroll down to Thursday, November 13th which is when the Hearthside Homes/Brightwater revocation request is scheduled to be heard.  The Brightwater revocation is item #17a. Application No R-5-05-020 (Hearthside Homes/Brightwater, Bolsa Chica).

YOUR PRESENCE AT THE REVOCATION HEARING IS VERY IMPORTANT!  (Please pass this e-mail on to others..)

All My Relations,

Susana and Paul
